Who doesn't love these guys, really??
Japan is by far one of the most popular locations to watch and photograph Illuminations from in EPCOT. One rainy night last year we decided to watch from the balcony, but not in the usual corner spot, but further down near the end of the restaurant. I’ve been sitting on it for a while because I wasn’t sure it worked, but I think I may have finally gotten to the point where I like it. Where is your favorite spot to watch Illuminations from?
This shot brings me back to the night of the candlelight vigil during the Kiss Goodnight at the Magic Kingdom. Disney usually performs the Kiss Goodnight multiple times after the park close, but this night in particular, it was performed almost constantly it feel like. It was an incredible night of love, hope, and healing that so many needed after what happened in Orlando almost 2 months ago now. Thinking outside of the candlelight vigil this night, the Kiss Goodnight is exciting for me as a photographer, as it’s pretty much the only time you can catch Cinderella’s Castle lit in white light at night. I always love getting that chance to see it at the end of the show whenever I can.
