This is a repost from a while ago. Seems fitting as Frozen Ever After opening is just around the corner... After taking a final farewell voyage around Maelstrom and its tribute to Norway on its final night of operation, the only other fitting way I could think of sending off the area as it’s been known for some time, was to shoot Illumination from the pavilion. While trying to find the good spot for the show… I began realizing why there aren’t many shots of Illuminations from this pavilion, as say Japan or Germany, which are both great spots to shoot and watch from. The view isn’t really that great in Norway and much of the ground fireworks and the globe are covered by tree cover. Still, it was fun shooting the show from here and watching the last few visitors come off the ride during the show. It will be very interesting to see how this are changes over the next few years.
I know... corny title, but as soon as I thought of it, I couldn't come up with anything else! The lighting was pretty harsh in this position, but I wanted to try a different spot to see what I could get. Turned out to be a great spot!
I've only gotten one chance so far to watch the new Star Wars stage show at Hollywood Studios. Lots of photo opportunities for sure, but it definitely amounts to a fancy step-and-repeat for famous Star Wars characters. I was lucky enough to time this shot when Boba Fett fired his gun. The blast is not PhotoShopped in!
