I've been to the 24 hour events since they've started, but this was the first year I've actually made it thru the entire event. Incredibly, so did my wife and two kids as well! After an awesome day around the park, we were treated to an awesome sunrise on our way back to the TTC.
Watching Festival of Fantasy from the Magic Kingdom hub is definately one of the best spots. Getting Cinderella's Castle in the shot makes it even more fun!
I love watching Wishes from Fantasyland. It's so much less crowded than on Main Street and the fireworks are so much closer to you, which I personally like. Yes, the best view is of course Main Street and nothing beats watching them there. But, for the comfort factor alone, Fantasyland is a great spot too. I keep adjusting my workflow lately, and have again experimented with some different layering techniques for this fireworks shot. I did a post-fireworks bracket shot of the foreground scene, and then layered in different fireworks shots into the sky. I like how it turned out, but let me know what you think too!
