It doesn’t matter how many times I’ve seen this show… Every time I see it in person it just simply incredible. This year we had the extreme fortune to be able to watch from the Fast Pass area at the front of World Showcase. What an incredible location! The finale was legitimately overwhelming in size at this location. The only unfortunate circumstance was the extreme Florida humidity which cause a ton of smoke, and the wind was of course blowing it all in our direction. It was so much fun spending time with family and fellow photographers. We had a nice little tripod row of about 10 going again at the back of the FP+ section. Can’t wait to see everyone’s shots!
Nothing speak Celebrate America more than Beast’s Castle, no? Alright, maybe not. We had a fantastic day in the Magic Kingdom as a family and might have gotten a little carried away on rides in Future World, letting time slip past us. Realizing 30 minutes before fireworks that you don’t have a spot yet on the 3rd of July at the Magic Kingdom doesn’t leave you many options. Managed to find some breathing room in Fantasyland and squeezed into a spot near the Be Our Guest bridge. Ended up watching the fireworks rather than concentrate on shooting… not a bad thing at all. If anything for me, if not a great shot of an awesome fireworks show, are the memories I have of the day with the family, which always gets two thumbs up for me! Heading out to EPCOT in a few for the 4th of July show. Can’t wait!
Who's ready for some more fireworks this weekend! Check out my other streams @photosbykevindavis for some shots last night at Cape Canaveral. I miss the Frozen Summer fireworks, and definitely miss Symphony in the Stars. The new show is growing on me, but Symphony is still my favorite for now.
