So, next week is Frozen day at Norway. Will anyone else be there on the 21st? Found it fitting to go with this photo today... Only slightly sad I didn't take more opportunities to shoot this ride before it closed. Definitely not the best I've seen of this scene, but it's mine so up it goes. Taken at 1/40 @ 115mm, I was extremely impressed on how the IS-II's stabilization held up. This was taken during the last few hours of operation at Maelstrom on closing night. It will be interesting to see what the next iteration of this ride will be come in the future.

Ended up sitting in the back row on this trip around the Great Movie Ride. Made for some interesting angles. We were moving into the horror section of the ride and I was able to see the next ride vehicle come up to the Xenomorph just before it attacked. The lighting and fog made for a very cool scene!
